At Children’s National, we define “innovation” as the process of translating novelties and discoveries to serve our patients and families, and ultimately, the larger market.
Innovation Day will primarily focus on Children’s National’s life science projects that are looking for strategic partnerships as well as co-development and licensing opportunities. The event will also showcase startup companies whose missions are aligned with our quest to bring more pediatric products to market. Throughout the day, investors and startups will have the chance to meet with our researchers and prominent stakeholders in the life sciences innovation ecosystem. Investors and interested companies will have a chance for one-on-one meetings with startups and selected research teams.
Children’s National Research Institute conducts novel basic, translational, clinical, and community research and education programs within Children’s National Hospital that improve the well-being of children throughout their lives. Our vision is to lead the nation in advancing the health and well-being of all children; to be a premier pediatric health system, with leadership in advocacy, research, education and clinical care; and to set the standard in delivering the highest quality care in ways that put the child at the center.
